This is a message for anyone geuinely interested in learning Korean to a reasonable standard. It is not a language exchange, charity, church group or any other such well meaning endeavour, but a serious attempt to get a high quality Korean language course running in Jinju's top university language centre. We will have a professional teacher with levelled classes, tests etc. and will strive to bring the lamentable standard of Korean among foreigners up to a reasonable one. It will also be an opportunity to meet Chinese, Russians, Bangladeshis and other nationalities who already study Korean at Gyeongsang through the day.
For years Gyeongsang National University has run evening language courses in Japanese, French, English etc., but has never taken seriously foreigners' need for Korean. Hopefully this is about to change and to make it happen we need motivated people to join up. If you feel your Korean should be better, or just have time in the evenings 7 - 9pm then get in touch.
Please let me know, by email or post a message on here if you are interested, or contact Gyeongsang National University School of Language Education and International Programs (SOLEIP) directly.
Thanks
Rian
